1.Coventry City last got relegated a few seasons ago. Can you describe the feeling when they were officially relegated late in the season?

Gutting, it was a horrible feeling that I don't wish on anyone; the worst part about our relegation was that it was our rivals Aston Villa who sent us down. It's a feeling that hits you as soon as it happens, it doesn't take time to sink in, your shoulders slump back and you are in pure shock. It was a dark day in our history.

2.There seems to be plenty of experienced heads in the line-up this season. Do you think that they will provide the answer to get promotion back into the Premiership or will this just contribute to a mid-table position at the end of the season?

Well, judging by our first four games, I can only see mid-table mediocrity for us this season. The first game proved we do have the potential there to grind out wins against the top teams (We won 2-0 at home to Sunderland, scoring two goals in the last 15 minutes) but since then we've had a 1-1 draw against Brighton, with them scoring an equaliser in the last minute and two losses against Millwall and Cardiff. For once I'm glad to see though that we aren't dependant on youth players. We have Steve Staunton, Tim Sherwood and Richard Shaw, all experienced players, in our ranks. This can only benefit the younger players in our squad as they learn from them.

3.Are there any young players that we may be looking for in the future?

Definitely, Andrew Whing is an excellent young right-back whom I back to play senior international football for England when he's matured and maybe moved away from Coventry if we don't get promoted soon. He emerged in the latter stages of 2002/03 season and has been first choice right-back for the whole of last season, he recently lost his place due to injury and some excellent performances from new signing Louis Carey.

4.There were plans to develop the ground (Highfield Road) before relegation from the premiership. Are these plans still viable and are they (the board) going ahead with such plans?

Well the original plans have been scrapped and after years of extra planning and financial worries, the new jaguar arena will become the new home of the sky blues at the start of next season. More information about it can be found at www.arenacoventry.com but basically it hasn't got the sliding pitch and roof as on the original plans, its an increase of capacity from Highfield Roads 25,000 to 32,000 and we have other new snazzy things like a train station and Europe's biggest TESCO (wonderful or what).

5.How do you see the British 'tilt for glory' at the Olympics so far and what are the prospects for the remainder of the Games?

To be honest with you, I haven't followed the Olympics that well so far this year, I really got into it in 2000 but this year its slipped through my fingers. I believe we currently have 5 gold, 6 silver and 7 bronze. Lets face it, we never will be as good as the U.S./China/Australia in the Olympics, purely because we are a smaller group.

6.Is there anything in particular that ensures that you are relaxed most of the time?

This might sound weird but playing around with graphics on Photoshop relaxes me. A lot of the time you will find Adobe Photoshop is open on my computer and I'll just be messing around with the filters and stuff. There's a lot of work on my pc that no one apart from me has ever seen (or probably will). Other than that, just a good song will relax me, something I can sing along to.

7.From the following list, which person would you say is most like you?
CHOICES ARE: Sandy, Dysart, Tails, KE, Karl

Well it's a bit of an unusual question but I'd probably have to say Tails. We get along really well and are both really into our football teams. We enjoy playing football with our friends and are both keen posters. I suppose that's it really.

8.If you were doing the weekly grocery shopping, what are the 5 most important items that you would buy and why?

Wotsits: I have a very unhealthy obsession for these gorgeous little pieces of heaven
Heinz Spaghetti Bolognese: Gorgeous, best canned food ever.
Fray Bentos Steak Pies: Brilliant, genius in a tin.
Cadburys Mini Rolls: Another brilliant creation, just the right size for one mouthful
Stella Artois: What? Well I need something to wash it all down don't I? Stella = Best Lager Ever
