Everyone knows that running any internet discussion board is not cheap (unlike the site which is run on Freeservers). In the past, merchandising and advertising has been tried to drum up funds to keep this place running. Their success was not as great as it could have been.
Then came an idea of an affiliate scheme. Many other sites have this and hopefully FFUK can benefit from this to ensure long-term viability. For those that don't know what it is, the affiliate scheme is where certain businesses sell items for FFUK members and a percentage of the purchase price is then put back into FFUK.
So far, there are afilliates for FFUK from online shops like Amazon, DVD rental and game purchase outlets and even car rental places. There are also afilliates for travel and holidays from such companies as travel4less.
