SITE INTERVIEW: Jenny

It's rare that you find a more passionate mother for their club than Jenny. The FFUK Site managed to catch up with her for this interview.

1.      Which relegation from the premiership was more painful for you being a Norwich fan, the first one in 1993/94 or last season?

I’m going for the 1993/94 season.  That was devastating.  The 2004/05 season was bad, but the last day of the season the Canaries had their fate in their hands and they blew it -big time.

2.      Are there any other clubs near Norwich that would provide a local derby should they get to the level of Norwich?

I live in a town called Dereham 16 miles from Norwich. Dereham always play Norwich in a pre-season friendly and Dereham normally get thrashed (amazingly) but Dereham have great facilities and its always a great night.

3.      With the poor start to this season how many personnel changes do you envisage to the squad so that Norwich can get anywhere near the playoffs and promotion?

FFUK where do I start.  I think it’s time for a change of manager. Up till now I have been against replacing him, but things are going from bad to worse.  If things don’t change very soon, we are not looking at promotion, we are looking at relegation.

4.      As a general rule, how supportive are Norwich fans in the toughest times?

I was going to answer this yesterday but didn’t!  Today fans booed the team off the pitch and shouted 'What a load of rubbish' after losing 1-0 at home to Sheffield Wednesday.  Personally that’s not my style, I don’t boo but I do question their commitment and loyalty to NCFC

5.      As one of the few female members of FFUK currently posting, do you think that the general behaviour on the board is up to your standards? (Please don’t name anyone unless you have to)

Yes on the whole it is.  There are members I completely ignore and there are members who have wound me up slightly but I have let them know as much!

6.      What is the 2nd most important thing in your life behind your children (assuming of course that your kids are the #1 priority)?

Yes my kids are the most important thing in my life.  Good health is the second most important thing.

7.      Which 5 people from outside of your family would get an invite to a dinner hosted by yourself?

Robert Green (NCFC), Elvis Presley (if he were alive), Delia Smith (to do the cooking), my penpal in London and my friend in Sydney

8.      With Christmas time coming up, what is the one present that you would most like to receive this year?

My mobile phone has been playing up lately so a new mobile

HACKERS TARGET FFUK

Last week, Football Forum UK was a victim of someone hacking into the boards. The event occurred on the 21st of May, at around 2PM. After 5 hours, the boards themselves were back online, and it was a short time later that everything returned to normality.

At this stage, efforts to find the perpetraitor have proven fruitless. It is unlikely that the hacker will be caught given the sheer volume of people logging into FFUK on a daily basis, much less the traffic throughout the internet world. This is something that invisionboard were looking into as of last week, but no word has been given since.

Commenting on the boards concerning the hacking, noble leader THX described this as "just a flat tyre on the hard shoulder on the highway of life, not a head on crash into an oncoming truck." He also paid tribuite to Karl for his assistance in getting the boards back up and running in a matter of hours after the attack. It is also a testiment to the members for continuing to support the board.

In what will be a busy period for FFUK with the World Cup a matter of weeks away, there was relief that the hacking was done at this time rather than during the tournament, if indeed it should have been hacked at all. Hopefully there are now steps to help prevent simillar situations from occuring in the future.

FFUK INTERVIEW-BFCRULES

Time to hear from a man who is never afraid to say what he wants to say.
1. How deep does your passion run for Blackpool FC?

Huge. Sadly the passion that was once their for the mighty Blackpool FC doesn’t seem to be their any more, which is a shame I know but ever since I moved away, Blackpool FC and me seem to be going in opposite directions, and all really do is see the results as I'm always busy now a days.

2. What do you see as a realistic ambition for Blackpool in the short-term (this season) and the long-term (next few seasons)?

This season a struggle to stay up, and under this chairmen in the near future relegation battles of mid table most seasons.

3. For the un-educated, could you tell us who the star players for Blackpool are?

Scott Veron class player, Kiegan Parker very good striker, good finisher too, and one for the future Lewis Edge.

4. As a supporter of a lower league club, how frustrating can it be when a decent player is sold in order for the club to survive for a little while longer?

Yes it can be extremely frustrating, but you get used to being a lower league fan ok its frustrating but if its an England player its better for the country that better England players could have a chance for playing for the national side one day.

5. Having being on FFUK for a while, are you impressed by the standard of the members and the board in general?

Yes it’s very good and ok still taking a while for the board to settle into its new place but I reckon 6 months time the bored will be back to its best and what it used to be like at ezboard.

6. Climate wise, would you prefer living where you are or would you prefer to move to somewhere a little more comfortable?

Depends on what you mean by comfortable, the weather and climate are fine hear they suit me and much prefer this to somewhere warm.

7. If you were asked to do something outlandish for charity, what would you do and how much would be raised before you were willing to do it?

Hmm tough one. Swimming in the sea in midwinter with no clothes on and if they raised £100.

8. What would be a typical Saturday Night in your life?

Come home from work if I started work early, spend time with my GF, if I started late come home go on the pc and chat online and go to bed I KNOW very exciting lol
